Amy P. Knight lives in Tucson, Arizona with her two little dogs.
She graduated from Conestoga High School, Vassar College, the University of Arizona MFA program, and Stanford Law School.
In college, Amy was a double major in cognitive science and English. After graduation, she worked in a neuroscience research lab before getting her MFA in fiction writing from the University of Arizona as a Beverly Rogers fellow and her law degree from Stanford.
In addition to writing fiction, she works as a criminal defense lawyer, chairs the Board of Directors of the Colibri Center for Human Rights, and is the fiction editor at terrain.org. She has also published some legal scholarship (here, here, and here). Amy likes coffee, whiskey, and chocolate.
